What’s Going On at the 2016 TKGA Conference?
Our knit classes feature a wide variety of knit techniques to explore: Intarsia, Orenburg Lace, Illusion Knitting, Fair Isle, Norwegian Purl, Twined Knitting, Mosaic Knitting, Stranded Knitting, Entrelac, Dimensional Stitches and more!
We have classes for the novice through the seasoned knitter – make the most of your conference experience by taking a class (or two, or three . . . )
Shop ‘til you drop in our exhibitors’ booths – overflowing with the products to pump-up- your projects! Find fibers, yarns, tools, patterns, kits, books, CDs, threads, buttons…if it’s knit- and crochet-related you’ll find it on the show floor! TKGA and CGOA members get in for FREE!
Demos, Make & Takes & Book Signings
Our Show Floor will be action-packed in 2016. Be inspired by out-of-the-box Demos and on-the-spot Make & Takes or have your favorite book personally signed by the author. Watch for more details as they unfold – we’ve got some cool tricks up our sleeve to make this year’s Conference the most memorable yet!
If you have questions about the Masters Program, or a specific knit challenge to solve, or want to advance on anything knitting, make an appointment at the Brilliance Bar (on the Show floor). A Master Knitter will meet with you face-to-face and provide the solutions you seek.
Knit & Crochet Lounge
The Lounge will be open throughout the Conference – a great spot to sit, knit and catch-up with old Conference friends (or get to know someone new)! Watch for signs onsite for location and times.
Ball Winding Station
The Knitting Guild Association will sponsor a DIY ball-winding station near the TKGA and CGOA membership booths. Bring those new skeins and leave ready to start your projects.
Our exhibitors will donate items to go in our Grand Prize Basket. All Conference attendees will be entered in a drawing for this over-the-top, product-packed prize which will be on display at Registration.
