July 23, 2014 9 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Amy Shelton and Vashti Braha
to anyone with advanced crochet skills who wants to discuss in-depth technical
issues about crochet.
you ever wondered about the effect your method of holding your hook and yarn
has on your crochet work? Are you interested in discussing how the twist and
fiber content of yarn affects that yarn’s performance in a design? Have you
ever thought about why you prefer different hook shapes or materials when
working with different yarns? Do you ever bore your crochet friends silly
wanting to have in-depth discussions about the technical aspects of anything
related to crochet? If you are intrigued by these questions, come join us for a
very informal session as we consider some questions and explore possible
answers together. Come prepared with your own questions you’d like the group to
explore. Session leaders are discussion facilitators only: Do not expect them
to know the answers to every question that may be discussed.

program to teach you how to review your own work and we’ll explain what we’re
looking for in the portfolio reviews.
Supplies to bring: Swatches for informal review, portfolio in
